How to get to Örnsköldsvik
Örnsköldsvik has its own airport and there are flights to and from Stockholm, operated by Höga Kusten Flyg. Below is a list of flights relevant for the meeting, with their departure times given (the travel takes approx 1 hour). We will try to keep this page as up to date as possible. For those arriving on June 21, Monday morning, we will organise a separate bus shuttle from the airport directly to the conference venue.
* Please email us if you plan to arrive to Umeå (which is some 100 km north from the venue), and need transportation to get to Örnsköldsvik. If needed, we will arrange a bus shuttle from Umeå airport (ca. 1 hour) for the SAS and Norwegian flights listed above.

There are regular flight buses connecting Örnsköldsvik centrum and the airport. Since the official site is in Swedish only, below is a short summary of the flight bus information:
Örnsköldsvik Bus Station -> Örnsköldsvik Airport
The bus takes the following route to the airport: Örnsköldsvik Bus Station, platform 1 > Hotel Focus > Hotel Statt > Örnparken > Brandstation > Hotel Scandic > Svartby (granngården) > Arnäsvall (Vårdhemsvägen) > Örnsköldsvik Airport
The bus starts at the following times:
from the Bus Station, ca. 70 minutes before the departure of each flight to Stockholm
from Örnparken, ca. 65 minutes before the departure of each flight to Stockholm
from Hotel Scandic, ca. 60 minutes before the departure of each flight to Stockholm
Örnsköldsvik Airport -> Örnsköldsvik Bus Station
The bus leaves ca. 10 minutes after the flight from Stockholm has landed. It stops at the following places (in order from the airport): Arnäsvall (Vårdhemsvägen) > Svartby (granngården) > Hotel Scandic > Brandstation > Örnparken > Hotel Statt > Hotel Focus > Örnsköldsvik Bus Station, platform 1
The trip takes ca. 30 minutes one way and costs 90 SEK (full price) or 68 SEK (under the age of 26).
Alternatively to flights, there are regular overnight trains from Stockholm to Örnsköldsvik, run by the Swedish railroad company SJ, and regular coaches several times a day, run by Ybuss.
Accomodation
Rooms at hotels, and as a cheaper alternative at a hostel, have been pre-reserved for meeting participants (see below). Breakfast is included in all alternatives.
